Your assistance provides support and stability for thousands of people in our Greater Hartford community. There are many ways you can help us to fulfill our mission. Thank you for being a part of our caring community.

Support all the vital programs and JFS will put funds where they’re needed most or specify a program (e.g., Mental Health, Anja Rosenberg Kosher Food Pantry, Holocaust Survivor Program) to designate your gift.

Join our Embracer Community. As an Embrace-a-child or Embrace-a-family donor, you to play a vital role in helping children and families with basic support and services needed to manage ongoing stressors and reduce barriers to wellbeing.

Become a Monthly Donor. Your monthly gift allows us to plan, making us an even more effective organization.

Dedicate a Gift. Send a tribute in memory or in honor of a family member, friend, colleague, or to celebrate a special event such as a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, wedding, birthday, anniversary, holiday, or graduation. Your contribution will be recognized with a personalized notification.

Donate items to the Anja Rosenberg Kosher Food Pantry. The food pantry at JFS accepts non-perishable food, fresh produce and fruit, frozen fish/meats, and toiletries to provide to residents of Greater Hartford.

Leave a Legacy. By remembering JFS of Greater Hartford in your will or estate planning, you leave a legacy of generosity that will endure forever in the Greater Hartford community. Join JFS’s legacy donors and make a positive impact for generations to come.

Donate Securities. Transfer securities, appreciated stocks or mutual fund shares directly from your brokerage account to Jewish Family Services brokerage account.

Match Your Gift. Leverage your gift with a match from your employer, increasing your impact to JFS! Ask your employer’s Human Resources Department if they provide matching gifts and fill out the paperwork.
