Anja Rosenberg Kosher Food Pantry

Feeding Our Community

The Anja Rosenberg Kosher Food Pantry at JFS serves hundreds of families of all backgrounds in Greater Hartford, where 10.7% of residents experience food insecurity. The pantry ensures that the dietary needs of community members are met with cultural competency, sensitivity, and inclusivity. In a recently renovated space, the pantry provides a complete grocery shopping experience including glass refrigerators filled with eggs and baked goods; baskets brimming with apples, oranges, carrots, and onions; shelves packed with cereal, pasta, beans, and challah; and even a pet food section. JFS’s food pantry is the only free source of kosher/halal food in the area.

We currently offer in-person pantry visits at our office in West Hartford. Please email or call with any questions about the food pantry at (860) 236-1927.
