JFS 12th Annual Back-to-School Drive Benefits Students in Need

JFS of Greater Hartford is holding its 12th Annual Back-to-School Drive during July 2026 to help Greater Hartford students in need start the school year with confidence and pride.
The drive will run from Wednesday, July 1 through Friday, July 31.
“Our goal is to fill more than 200 backpacks with basic supplies for students in grades pre-K through 12,” noted CEO Katie Hanley. “It’s easy to take school supplies for granted, but for many of the families we serve, items like notebook paper, pocket folders, pencils and pens can be hard to afford on top of basic needs like food, clothing, and transportation.”
