Our Programs

The ANJA ROSENBERG KOSHER FOOD PANTRY
provides food to anyone in need. It offers fresh
produce, eggs, pantry staples, and spices as well
as paper goods, diapers, and pet food. A volunteer
nutrition counselor is available by appointment.

 

MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES are available for
people of all ages. JFS offers individual, couple,
and family counseling with licensed clinicians, as
well as psychiatric care.

 

YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAMS offer
information, tools, and support that help young
people and those who care about them proactively
address mental health.

 

HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS PROGRAM provides
emergency assistance to very-low-income Holocaust
survivors and ensures they have the basics for a
stable, healthy life.

 

RUSSIAN-SPEAKING OLDER ADULTS, refugees
and Holocaust survivors from the Former Soviet Union
get help with translation, navigating social services
and medical bills, and accessing benefits and
nutritious food.

TECHNOLOGY SUPPORTS FOR OLDER ADULTS
include Uniper, a TV-based technology that reduces
isolation, and Memory Lane TV, which assists seniors
with memory loss.

 

CARE AT HOME BY JFS provides hourly and 24/7
live-in care, personal care assistance, friendly
companionship, and kosher meal delivery to help local
seniors live independently. Care at Home covers its
own operating costs and supports a variety of free and
subsidized JFS services.

 

COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNITY SUPPORTS helps
individuals and families move toward financial stability
with holistic case management, financial education,
and more.

 

MONEY COACH is a volunteer CERTIFIED FINANCIAL
PLANNER™ who provides expert, one-on-one advice to
help clients pay down debt and save for the future.

 

JFS works with local partners and volunteers to assist
REFUGEES as they build new lives in Greater Hartford.
