Donor Spotlight: Meg Rosenberg’s Monthly Gift

For Meg Rosenberg, supporting JFS is a meaningful way to honor family, celebrate her heritage, and help others.
Although Meg grew up outside Connecticut, her family’s history began in Greater Hartford, where her grandparents settled after immigrating from Poland and opened a neighborhood grocery store. Years later, Meg attended a family reunion that reignited her connection to both her father’s side of the family and her Jewish heritage.
When her cousin Eugene Rosenberg passed away in 2022, Meg wanted to honor his memory in a lasting way. She began making monthly gifts to JFS, supporting the Anja Rosenberg Kosher Food Pantry because she believes everyone deserves access to nutritious, kosher food. Today, Meg’s generosity helps ensure that local families have the food they need each and every month.
Inspired by Meg’s story? Honor a loved one or support local families year-round through monthly giving to JFS. Gifts of any size make a difference. Visit our donation page to start today.
