Joining Forces to Feed the Hungry at Passover

Our 2026 Passover food distribution spanned Fairfield and Hartford counties, three service agencies, and dozens of volunteers.
JFS of Greater Hartford is tremendously grateful to the Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty for donating food for our Passover distribution and to Elayne & James Schoke Jewish Family Service of Fairfield County for their partnership in arranging our pick-up of the food donation. We’re also grateful to our many amazing volunteers, especially Congregation Beth Israel’s Social Justice Committee, who helped unload and pack more than 250 bags of food that were distributed to JFS clients for Passover!
Thanks to your generosity, members of our community were able to celebrate the holiday with dignity.
