Jewish Family Services of Greater Hartford’s Annual Hunger Event to benefit the Anja Rosenberg Kosher Food Pantry
About this event
Jewish Family Services and the Anja Rosenberg Kosher Food Pantry Hunger Event Committee invite you to join us for our annual event to support the work of our food pantry and raise awareness about food insecurity in our community.
“Feed Our Hungry Community” will be held virtually on Tuesday, November 16 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Our hungry community is experiencing increased food insecurity and stress. Even before the pandemic, many families in the Greater Hartford community struggled to put food on the table. In the past year and a half, Foodshare reports that food insecurity has increased by 32% in Greater Hartford, pushing families to make difficult choices between paying rent, keeping the lights on, or buying groceries for the week.
With your help, we will ensure that the Anja Rosenberg Kosher Food Pantry continues to provide families in need with food for the holidays as well as the supportive services they need throughout the year!
Please join us to celebrate all we have done together and reflect on the ways we can do more to feed our hungry community.
