Sharsheret is a national not-for-profit organization supporting young Jewish women and their families facing breast cancer.
In the Greater Hartford area Sharsheret is offered through Jewish Family Services. We connect Jewish women of all ages to culturally relevant support, resources, health professionals, and educational programming.
Our services are customized to reflect what is most comfortable to you, the role Judaism plays in your life, your stage of diagnosis or treatment (from risk for BRCA to recent diagnosis to advanced treatment, to survivors). Whether you are concerned about genetics, dating, parenting, relationship with a spouse or partner, career, or managing side effects from treatment, think of Sharsheret as your personal gateway to the resources and support you may need over time.
